MODEL 350  CASING DRIVER

These casing drivers were designed to be used with a down hole hammer underreamer. The underreamer drills an oversize hole in overburdened soil, rock layers, clay bedrock, etc. When the hole is first started and until gravity is not enough to make the casing follow the underreamer, the casing driver just sits on top of the casing and acts as a water diverter. When the underreamer advances 1" ahead of the casing, the casing driver anvil closes, and the 350 Ibs. piston in the casing driver starts cycling. Holte casing drivers turn on and off automatically just like a down hole hammer. The only exception is that it doesn't blow when the anvil is hanging like a down hole hammer does with the bit hanging.

The casing driver is 40" tail with a 15" diameter and weighs approximately 1300lbs. This casing driver is mounted under the top head of a drill rig.

The total assembly includes the drill pipe shaft that fits through the casing driver, a 1x1/4" turn ball valve, an air pressure regulator with a gauge, and a 50' length of 1" hose with fittings.
